School History
Suncrest Elementary School opened for summer school in June 1996. It combined students from Lincoln Elementary and Woodside Elementary, which were closed, and some students from South Side Elementary through a school corporation redistricting program.
The front hallway displays the Woodside cornerstone and the Lincoln eagle. The facility is beautiful and includes many state-of-the art components, including: a fiber-optic computer network, a multi-media teacher computer station connected to a 31-inch video monitor, air-conditioning, small-group instruction areas in each wing, a well-supplied and automated media center, and well-designed specialty areas for art, music, and physical education. Each classroom is equipped with a telephone, and parent/teacher communication is enhanced with a voice-mail system. All K-5 classrooms are equipped with Chromebooks for all students and our Preschool classrooms have iPads.
